Enrollment FAQ

You have questions. We have answers!

Trust and confidence are our top priorities for you as a parent. You will have peace of mind knowing your child is in the best possible environment, with teachers who genuinely care for their well-being, overseen by the director and assistant director who have every child’s best interest in mind, every moment of the day.

Q. What ages do you accept?
A. We care for children ages 6 weeks to Pre-K.

Q. What are your hours?
A. Monday through Friday 6:30 am – 6:00 pm, 52 weeks per year

Q. Are the teachers trained in early childhood education?
A. Every teacher* in each program has a minimum education level including (a):

  • CDA (Child Development Associates) certificate OR
  • ECE (Early Childhood Education) college degree (*Preschool Teachers – meet above requirement plus have a minimum of 12 ECE college credits)
  • Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • 20 annual hours of early childhood and education training

Q. What is the curriculum?
A. Bright & Early Children’s Learning Centers has created and developed an Individualized Learning System. Our team provides an outstanding early education experience that exceeds all parent expectations.

Our curriculum provides a unique opportunity for teachers to create weekly Learning Experience Plans by taking into consideration the individual interests of each child in their classroom.

The Individualized Learning System includes: a truly dedicated team of qualified teachers, state of the art classrooms, weekly individualized learning experience plans, portfolios for each child recording their progress, regular developmental assessments and one-on-one parent conferences held on a regular basis.

Q. Will my child be safe here?
A. We know that a secure daycare center is at the very top of your list for a quality child care experience. We have this covered from the moment you walk up to our front door to picking your child up at the end of the day.

Our facilities have center-wide video surveillance with cameras in every classroom, secure entry and exit, a custom database that gives the director access to your child’s information when needed, and playgrounds that are regularly inspected.

Q. Do you take school age children for before and after school?
A. Bright&Early offers a School-Age Program for children ages 5 to 12 years old. This includes before and/or after school care, as well as school holidays and school vacations throughout the year, including a summer program.

Q. What holidays are you closed?
A. B&E is closed for the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (for Teacher professional development)
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Columbus Day (for Teacher professional development)
  • Thanksgiving Day & Friday after
  • Christmas Eve Day – early closing at 3:00 pm or closed depending on date
  • Christmas Day
