A Great Way to Begin & End the Day

Bright & Early offers a School-Age Program for children who seek care and enrichment activities for before and/or after school, or during school holidays, vacations, or weather-related closings.

Before & After School Program

The Before & After School Program operates during the public/private elementary school year from September through mid-June. Transportation is provided via the local elementary school bus system. A nutritious snack is provided when students arrive at Bright & Early in the afternoon, and they are then able to do their homework, socialize with friends, and have outdoor and indoor activity time. Children may attend either before or after school, or both.

School-Age Program

The School-Age Program is available for public/private elementary school half days, holidays, school vacations, as well as weather-related closings. Generally, Bright & Early is open for public/private elementary school weather-related closings and is able to provide space for school-age children.

    SUMMER FUN AT BRIGHT & EARLY

    The School-Age Program runs through summer at Bright & Early. It is a great opportunity for both learning and fun. Families who already have a child at Bright & Early love to utilize this program for one-stop drop-off and pick-up during the summer months when elementary schools are on vacation. In addition to older siblings attending the program, many local school-age children, and Bright & Early graduates enroll as well. It is a great way to reconnect your child with friends from their Bright & Early preschool days or with other neighborhood kids!

    In the summer, kids enjoy arts & crafts, social group time, music, dance, outdoor games, sports such as kickball and soccer, and safe water play (no pools). There are also in-house enrichment programs which visit the center to provide extra special activities for the kids. Past experiences have included Curious Creatures, Mystic Aquarium, Jump Bunch, local farms, and more!
