Bright & Early hosts 3 annual full-day trainings for Teachers on Professional Development Days.

Professional Development for Teachers at Bright & Early is essential for ensuring the well-being and growth of the children in their care. Our Teachers are updated on the latest best practices so they can provide the best quality early care and education, which is paramount for a child’s development.

We are committed to helping Teachers grow, adapt, and meet the evolving needs and expectations of the field. We equip Teachers with the right tools to care for, educate, and nurture children, while also providing the necessary support and resources for career development and advancement.

B&E provides initial and ongoing support for Teachers, including:

 

  • A full-time Employee Engagement Director who is the first point of contact from the interview to hiring and onboarding/training process.
  • Teachers receive full onboarding and training from day one and have a consistent ongoing point of contact. It is important all Teachers are set up for success and they know exactly how to benefit from everything B&E has to offer.
  • B&E Consultants who are available for staff to use as resources, including focusing on self-care, dealing with challenging situations, stress management, and general wellness.
  • Career Advancement Opportunity: At B&E, we prioritize internal career development, fostering a culture that values and nurtures the growth of our existing team members. By always looking first to promote from within, we ensure that staff have ample opportunities for career advancement, recognizing and rewarding their dedication, skills, and contributions to B&E’s success.

B&E Annual All Company Summer Social

 

The B&E family has grown so much over the years, and we love to get everyone together and celebrate! We host our Annual Summer Social at the end of the summer to ring in the new school year. If you like surf ‘n turf, lawn games, and all things beach – this is not to be missed!

We love treating our fabulous Teachers to lobster on the beach at the end of each summer. There is an unofficial tradition of Teachers jumping into the ocean dressed in their summer best!

B&E Staff Holiday Celebrations

 

Each B&E center hosts its own special event for the Teachers during the holiday season. Gathering together during the holidays is not only a fun way to spread the cheer, but also a meaningful way to celebrate and honor their passion and dedication!

Other celebrations include “Secret Snowflake” and other holiday-themed center-wide activities to get everyone in the holiday spirit!

Up-to-Date Technology for Teachers

All Teachers use iPads to make technology use in the classroom seamless. The Tadpoles communication app is used to make parent communication and daily reporting quick and easy!

Each B&E center has a nice space dedicated for Teachers to enjoy their lunch and work on curriculum without distractions.
